Army grave flag holder, made of cast iron in the shape of a Gar medal and fixed to a metal rod. Was pushed into the ground at the site of a Union Civil War veteran's grave, a small national flag placed there on Memorial Day inducted the last resting place of a Civil War veteran. A report of the Soldiers national Cemetery at Gettysburg, 212 pages by Singerly and Myers, Harrisburg 1865, Contains the names of all Union soldiers buried there along with the plans for the dedication that was held there on the 19th November 1863. Also copies of correspondence that was sent out to the dignitaries who were invited to speak, A good tight copy with some wear on the cover, with some tears on the front cover and spine, a very rare book
