2 carte-de-visite's of Union cavalry Officers 2 Union cavalry officer's sitting, one on a chair the other on a stool, both wear short waist length blouses with shoulder straps, and long thigh length cavalry boots. The one on the stool has his legs crossed with his campaign hat hanging on his left foot. A Washington D.C photographs back mark. A standing knees up studio view of a Union cavalry officer with small beard and moustache. He is looking to the left while holding a Napoleonic pose. He wears a single breasted frock coat, with dress epaulettes, sash, belly and buckle. A model 1860 cavalry sabre hangs from his belt - a Boston photographer's back mark - Both very nice images.
