A stag antler netsuke, signature of Tomomasa, judged to be a late addition along with himotoshi, 19th century an unsual and finely detailed study of meditating Daruma (Boddhidarma). Height 4.8 cm. Note: Daruma is famous for his long years of meditation during which his legs are said have atrophied (ref lot 407 for other depiction).
