A boxwood (Tsugu) netsuke Unsigned, 18th century A tall and well worn figure with good patina of te-naga (long arm) sennin. He stands wearing the typical sennin garb of mugwort leaves, 9.2 cm high. Note: it is rare to find te-naga depicted without the balancing figure of ashinaga (long tegs). The two together are symbolic of mutual dependence and cooperation
