Two CloisonnÚ Lidded Jars, Meiji period circa 1890's Unsigned The baluster shaped jar on scalloped foot and silver lid insert. Featuring four large oval panels of scrolling leaves and flowers. Shoulder and lid featuring stylized chrysanthemums. Gin-bari and other techniques. 15 cm Six sided spherical shape with gilt finial on three feet. Scrolling pattern of spade shape panels with coloured scrolls decorated with dragons, ho-o birds (phoenix) and flowers, 12.5 cm high. (2)
