A French 18th century Louis XV gilt-bronze and Vernis Martin bracket clock, by Antoine Foullet, ParisThe shaped case surmounted by a pierced foliate mount, the dial with blue and white enamel numeral plaquettes, on scrolling acanthus cast feet, the bracket with scrolling foliate mounts, each decorated all-over with a brown-ground with painted birds and flowers, the carcass of both the clock and bracket stamped to the reverse Ant. Foullet and with Jme mark, the clock: Width 42 cm. Depth 19 cm. Height 84.5 cm, the bracket: Width 45 cm. Depth 23 cm. Height 49 cm
