Les Darcy: 'Police Gazette Sporting Annual 1916' [New York, 1916], with full-page photo of Les Darcy (p.83) & Les Darcy's boxing record to the end of 1915 (p.195). [Les Darcy is widely considered to be the best boxer ever from Australia. He had the misfortune to become embroiled in the politics of conscription during the First World War, and left Australia for America to avoid the aggravation. There he collapsed on April 27, and died on May 24, only 21 years-old]
