A Louis Vuitton flat trunk, tan canvas board with monogrammed lozenge leather corners with brass corner caps and binding, lock fittings, studded beech slats and a leather securing strap. Lock marked with manufacturer’s patent, the escutcheon numbered 034693. Hand painted with owner’s name and initials. Leather lozenge and various travel labels affixed. The interior of the lid with silk lining trellised with Louis Vuitton ribbon and brass studs.
