World War I Diary: 22 page hand-written diary of Harry Higgins, from 12th April 1917 to 26th Jan. 1918, while with the 8th Field Engineers on the Western Front. Together with a compass made by Stanley, London. Jack Higgins was a surveyor; he was in the 5th Field Company at Gallipoli, then renamed the 8th Field Engineers (1916) and re-assigned to the 5th Division and sent to France. (2 items)
