Radio city music hall, Rockefeller Center New York: original sepia tone photographs of Radio city music hall stage, most with images of the Rockettes (the most famous dance troupe in the world) on stage and in costume (approx. 200); including 26 photographs of the interior of the music hall and its remarkable decor. All contained in four albums which also contain publicity department releases explaining the decor in detail. Also, 23 glossy descriptions of the exhibits at the century of Progress at the 1933 Worlds Fair. Also, a photo album containing 10 photo-reprints of the Franco-British Exhibition of 1908, each page with the different architectural exhibits and explanations. Also, 10 contemporary photographs of the Chicago, theatre, considered by many to be the most beautiful modern theatre, the photographs are of the interior decor of the theatre designed and built by C.W. & Geo.L. Rapp, architects. (1932). An historical and important record of these beautiful palaces of entertainment in remarkably good condition for their age. (100s)
