An early 19th century French silver-gilt two-handled tea urn, by Jacques-Henri Fauconnier Paris 1819 - 1838, raised on a square base with lion paw feet supporting the ovoid body with applied palms and anthemion and a chase band of putti at play with swans and in boats, lion mask spout and anthemion spigot, two rising loop handle and flat cover with pineapple finial, mark Fauconnier R. Du Bac N.58 a Paris. Height 51.5 cm (height 20') .
