An early 19th century French gilt bronze figural mantel clock depicting the embrace of two young lovers, the associated English movement supplied by Bentley & Beck, Royal Exchange, London, the signed 4.75 inch enamel Roman dial with minute track and curved signature, with moon hands and centre seconds hand, framed by a garland held by two swans on a pair of pilasters with well cast applied mounts to a bench with lion monopodia supports, the young lovers in front, apparently rushing into an embrace, on a variegated green marble base, the associated English movement by Bentley & Beck, Royal Exchange, London, with twin chain fusee. Height 58 cm
