A late 19th century French gilt bronze clock garniture stamped Maple & Co, Paris, circa 1900, having an eight-day movement with an Arabic numeral dial suspended within a classical arch, decorated with floriate, fruit, acanthus, swag and ribbon decoration, surmounted by an urn, raised on a shaped Carrara marble base, gilt metal feet with conforming candelabra. Height 55 cm.
