An impressive French gilt bronze mantel clock Levy Freres, circa 1880, having an eight-day bell striking movement with Roman numeral porcelain dial and central painted panel after Raph'l, Madonna la Bella Giardinera, flanked by sevres style floral panels, mounted in an elaborate classical pierced case cast with scroll, mask head, floral and foliate decoration, raised on a griffon base with claw feet, movement stamped, Vincent & Cie, Levy Freres Paris. Height 48 cm.
