Ashley Mallett & Graham McKenzie'S Australian 'Baggy Green' Test Cap from the series Australia v West Indies 1968/69, green wool, Coat-of-Arms embroidered in coloured silk, tag inscribed 'GMcK' and also signed by Ashley Mallett; as used by Mallet in the first test and by McKenzie for Tests 2-5. Graham McKenzie and Ashley Mallet both played in the 1968 Ashes tour (Mallet's first tour of the UK) and in the 1968-69 West Indies tour of Australia where the accidental interchange of caps occured. McKenzie took 8-71 in the Second Test, and 6 more wickets in the Third, and 40* in the 5th. Australia won the series 3-1. Ashley Mallett played 38 Tests 1968-80. Garth mcKenzie played 60 Tests 1961-71
