Sydney Suburban - an iconic indicator clock showing next train with lights to indicate stopping patterns - From Ashfield R.S. Presented with: 1) the indicator board (146 x 37 cm) & clockface; 2) clock hands & clockwork; 3) light bulbs, etc; 4) the mechanical box (13 x 12 cm) which uses very early computer technology to move around a cylinder containing holes & screws which set the sequence of lights. Station name, Rookwood (open 1887-1967), blacked out. Spectacular!
