A Gilt Bronze Buddha Of Shakyamuni, c.19th century, seated in dhyanasana with his hands in bhumisparsa and dhyana mudra, above a double lotus platform with beaded rim, his fine featured visage with serene expression below a coiffure of tight curls with domed ushnisha surmounted by a budding cintanami, wearing a sanghati with decorated borders tightly draped over his body falling across his left shoulder and gathered in elegant pleats between his legs, some verdigris to rear, Sino-Tibet, 13 x 8 cm, sold at Bonham's and Goodman, Sydney, 20 November 2007, Lot No.197
