An outstanding large Chinese Neolithic jade Pi disc, c.3rd millenium BC, either Liangzhu or Logshan culture, of classic large proportions and exceptional smooth finish, the central aperture with raised inner rim, mounted on a perspex stand, 67 cm. Provenance: from the collection of a Hong Kong resident note: for a similar example cf. Sotheby's New York, Sept. 2003, fine Chinese Ceramics and works of Art, Lot 24.
