Lester Piggott's Whip, made by Swain & Adeney, London, framed & glazed, overall 82 x 27 cm. Provenance: Given to Sydney jockey George Podmore by Lester Piggott in Singapore in the late 1960s. On his return to Australia, Podmore gave the whip to his lifelong mate, former rider Walter Glover.
