Green Serpentine Horse, An unusually large and well carved green serpentine sculpture of a recumbent horse, the head tucked closely to the body. Sensitive use of a red carnelian inclusion in the stone forms the horse's eye and the retaining of some of the natural outlines of the single boulder shows the skill of the carver. Probably Soo Chow, late 19th century Width 57 cm approx
