A Fine Shan Alabaster Buddha, c.18-19th century, of fine features and good detail, seated in dhyanasana above a lotus platform, wearing a close fitting sanghati, his visage with serene expression and down cast eyes below a projecting cintanami at apex, decorated with polychrome mineral earth pigments and remnant gilt, Burma, 72 x 43 cm.
