Description: Len Castle. Double necked vase form in blue/black semi matt talc glaze over saturated iron underglaze. Impressed early mark, 30 cm height. Provenance: stolen from Royal Oak Hotel by band "The Pretty Things" in 1965 and returned. Glued to hotel counter for next 16 years and removed before hotel demolition in 1981, hence damage to base, refer page 45 of Len Castle Potter
