A scratch built model steam oscillating engine, made 1910 by C. A. Cardeau of Wahroonga. He later became Assistant Chief Mechanical Engineer in New South Wales Railways and designed in part the 3,800 class locomotives, on original green painted wooden base, overall 15.5 cm high, 18.5 cm long; 15 cm deep
