Beautifully Carved Maori Walking Stick of 6 sections. The top knob is of a clenched fist with inserts of paua shell in triangular shapes at the wrist. Below that is a carved Maori figure, facial tatoos, paua shell eyes and holding a mere, (paua shell missing). Third band is of triangular shaped decoration with carved tiki face, above two carved bands and then tapering down to a plain band with small section of carving. Length 87.5 cm Y13849
