Three Amlash Spearheads (Iran) Circa 1st Millennium BC Bronze (i) A round-shouldered blade with a broad midrib that terminates in a bent tang with a blunt end. Length 40 cm (ii) An almost squared-shoulder blade with a raised midrib that terminates in a bent tang with a bunt end. Length 21.5 cm (iii) A leaf-shaped and round-shouldered blade with a prominent midrib that extends into a long shank and tang with a button end. Length 41.5 cm Note Amlash is a village situated between the Caspian Sea and the heights of the Dailaman region. The bent tangs and prominent midribs of these spearheads connect them to a class of blades from that area, southwest of the Caspian Sea
