Description:		Japanese Ivory Chess Set (c mid-20th C), A spectacular hand carved ivory chess set, with pieces housed in fi tted individual drawers within a custom made rosewood table (80 x 80 x 60 cm). The table is probably Chinese. The chess pieces are natural white and traditional light brown stained. The kings and queens measure 15 cm tall. The entire offering is in mint condition and must be seen to be appreciated
