Stephen Henty's son Richmond Henty was given this watch by his Uncle Edward, Victoria's first permanent settler (from l834 in Portland area). Stephen George Henty was a son of Thomas Henty. This watch passed by descent to Ernest George Henty, grandson to Richmond Henty, and then to Ernest George Henty's step daughter. In beautiful condition and working.
