An early 20th century two-day marine chronometer, Dobbie McInnes Ltd, So(uth) Shields, London, Glasgow, Liverpool, Contractors to the Admiralty, 9999 the signed silvered Roman dial with subsidiaries for state of wind and seconds, the spotted free sprung movement with diamond end stone to a palladium helical hairspring with cut and compensated bimetallic balance, maintaining power to the chain fusee and Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, now contained in a custom-made brass bound three part case with recessed side handles.
