A French Empire gilt bronze and ebonised portico mantel clock, circa 1840, the moulded portico with applied scroll cast mounts, raised on four barley twist columns with running vine decoration, over a plinth base, raised on over-scrolled feet, the silvered dial with Roman numerals within an embossed frame, with matching pendulum, French movement, striking on a bell, serial number 3566, 25 cm wide, 14.
