A superb Victorian sterling silver wine cooler, 1860 London, with maker's mark for, the John Samuel Hunt of classical campana-form urn shape raised on a square domed pedestal base with four acanthus leaf and scroll feet, rising to a scrolling openwork naturalistic body formed from cast and chased fruiting vine tendrils, with two branch form handles, original fitted liner, marked to, the underside and body, the underside also stamped 'Hunt & Roskell late Storr & Mortimer 395'. Weight 4495g height 39 cm, diameter 27 cm
