Robert broad rare pair of antique Australian Colonial silver serving spoons with engraved monograms 'J.E.', circa 1835, both stamped 'R.B.', with monarch's head, leopard's head, W, and lion passant, each 22.5 cm long, 150 grams total. Provenance: Aalders Auctions, Estate of the late Dr. Hordern, March 2017, lot 300. Robert broad, who arrived in Sydney aboard the 'Sovereign' in February 1831, is well described in Houstone at pp.38-40.
