A signed Royal Worcester figural comport dish, Royal Worcester, signed James Hadley, 1884 modelled as a young man stooping before a tree stump to support a shallow basket on his back, polychrome painted and with gilt highlights, on a naturalistic integral base incised 'Hadley', with stamped green mark - date code for 1884, diamond registration mark, and numbered 962 to the underside.
