A Continental porcelain box depicting the Blackheath golfer, late 19th century the rectangular gilt-metal mounted box, enamel painted to the hinged top with a scene after Francis Lemuel Abbott's 'The Blackheath Golfer' in reserve upon a bleu celeste ground with floral and grapevine gilt borders, opening to a silk lined interior with summer flower sprigs to the underside of the cover, unmarked. Height 8 cm, length 15.5 cm, width 10.5 cm
