A Victorian rosewood inlaid work box, early 19th century the small rectangular box with mother-of-pearl buttons, conforming cartouche to the strung lid and a carved mother of pearl escutcheon, opening to a paper lined interior in purple tones with a lift out tray, the underside of the cover lined with fuchsia moire taffeta, with key.
