A Chinese export-ware sparrow-beak cream jug and cover, possibly London decorated in the atelier of James Giles, painted with exotic birds in landscape, the porcelain Qianlong period, 18th century. Provenance: Robert Burke collection. Reference: It is recorded that Worcester and Chinese porcelain was supplied to clients of the James Giles London atelier.
