A fine and rare Chelsea floral encrusted and gilt porcelain figure of shepherdess with a sheep, English circa 1755, red anchor mark. Provenance: Sir Bernard Eckstein Collection. R F Butler Collection. Albert Amor Ltd London 14/08/2017 (4,900 pounds). Robert Burke collection no 214. This rare model was re-issued in a Gold Anchor Period version, see Frank Stoner, Chelsea, Bow and Derby Porcelain Figures (1955), pl. 35. However this version showing the figure with a shovel is even rarer. 23 cm high, 10.5 cm wide
