A Worcester porcelain blue-scale circular sucrier and cover, painted in the London atelier of James Giles with version 7 of the Lady Mary Wortley Montagu pattern. English circa 1770, underglaze blue fret mark. Provenance: Albert Amor Ltd London 13/02/1996 (7500 pounds). Robert Burke collection no 49. Reference: Ann George, in a letter to Robert Burke notes that this sucrier and cover is from the same set as the teapot (lot ? in this auction) as it is painted in the same hand and with matching gilding with the same floral finial. 12 cm high 11.7 cm diameter
