A large and fine Worcester porcelain yellow-ground cabbage leaf moulded jug, painted in puce cameiu with Chinoiserie landscapes. English circa 1760, unmarked. Provenance: Mrs R.M Robertson collection. Albert Amor Ltd London 'Treasures from Toronto' 1993 No.10, acquired 24/05/2017 (6500 pounds). Robert Burke collection no 223. Reference: See Albert Amor Limited, 18th Century English Porcelain from Renowned Collections, 2000, number 18, for a similar slightly larger jug from the Rous Lench collection. A similar jug is in the Schreiber collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum Cat. no 508, 23 cm high
