Pair of pink sapphire and diamond earrings, circa 1900, composite, property from a private Queensland collection, each terminating in a cluster swing-drop centring a claw-set oval pink sapphire, framed by a halo of similarly set old European-cut diamonds, surmounted by a claw-set brilliant-cut diamond and diamond connector, the pink sapphire and diamonds together weighing approximately 4.50 carats and 8.00 carats respectively, mounted in silver topped 9ct gold, length 36 mm, post and scroll fittings in 18ct gold.
