A set of four Minton Royal service plates in the Sevres style decorated by Antoin Boullemier, circa 1885, painted in coloured enamels with a putto beside a pink ground panel centred with a gilt monogram of interlinked L's possibly for King Leopold of the Belgians, beneath a crown, the cobalt ground border with running laurel and beaded bands within a dentil rim, pattern number G 5154, retailer's marks for Mortlock, Oxford Street, London, 23.5 cm diameter, note, Paul Atterbury, the dictionary of Minton, page 308, illustrates a plate in this pattern decorated by Fred N Sutton
