A unique,Pink/White diamond ring in 18ct white and rose gold. Consisting of one .61ct fancy vivid Purplish pink, SI2 clarity diamond as per GIA report 5171237884, accented with sixteen pear cut diamonds, D-E colour, VVS clarity and three hundred and thirty one small round brilliant cut diamonds totalling 2.49 cts, F average colour, SI1-SI2 average clarity. Ring size N. Pink diamonds are extremely rare, since 1983 the Argyle mine in Western Australia, produced more than 90% of the world?s supply of pink diamonds, this mine unearthed approximately 15 million carats of rough diamonds a year from which only 1% was pink. Now the mine is closed and there are no other sources in the world known to have a consistent production comparable to Argyle?s iconic colours, hence their rarity and value.
