A Chinese famille rose ink cake rest, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later, in the form of a scroll, decorated with a figure resting by a lake, the base with a jiaqing mark in underglaze blue against a turquoise enamel ground. 1.5 cm high, 8 cm wide, 4 cm deep, condition: minor wear to the gilding, and some scratches to the glazing and enamels.
