A pair of vintage ivory elephant figures, in ornate jewelled full body caparison carrying the Buddha on his back, the Buddha seated on lotus throne in protective pose, each figure a mirror image of the other, attached to a decorated ivory base which sits in a wood stand, old paint finish to ivory. 20 x 9 x 34.5 cm.
