A French mock red tortoiseshell striking mantel clock, Vincenti & Cie, circa 1900, the Regence style mantel clock with straight sided case and glazed sides, with cast and pierced gilt foliate ornaments, palmettes, mask and scrolling legs, the cresting surmounted with a figure of Victory, enclosing an enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals with retailer's mark 'Mappin & Webb London', the brass gong striking movement stamped, with original pendulum and key. Height 61 cm, width 27 cm, depth 15.5 cm
