A signed Satsuma tea and dessert service for six, Taisho period, 20th century, comprising a fine compressed form tea pot, six teacups & saucers, & six later side or dessert plates, the vessels & saucers finely decorated & gilded in typical Satsuma manner & palette with scenes of figures before extensive lake landscapes, the plates with figures in daily activities, each with Kinkozan tsukuru mark in cartouche to the underside, the dessert plates with later different maker's mark. height12 cm, W: 21.5 cm, (teapot) Dia: 18 cm, (plate) & smaller
