A pair of French champleve enamel gilt bronze glass epergnes, Maison Alphonse Giroux, 19th century, the fine pair, each surmounted by a trumpet vase with acid etched neoclassical motifs, enclosed in a superbly enameled bronze support and domed spreading base with fringed leafy collars, each engraved 'Mon Alph. Giroux Paris' to the inside of the collar. Alphonse Giroux (1776-1848) was an important Paris dealer in luxury goods.Height 29 cm
