Two Indian silver repousse boxes, 800 silver, early 20th century, the near pair of boxes of cusped foliate form with hinged covers, one decorated with a feline head amidst intricate scrolling foliage, with a repeat border of flower heads and lozenges, engraved underside with felines pursuing a deer, the other with two birds on branches to the top and two felines to the side, with a tree of life design engraved underside, unmarked.
