Two pairs of Spode plates, comprising a pair of Spode stoneware plates printed and painted in shades of green, pink and yellow with peony and foliage reserved on a blue ground, printed mark and painted pattern number 2217, circa 1820, together with a pair of side plates, blue transfer printed in 'Bamboo and rock' pattern with chrysanthemums and yellow highlights, each with impressed and printed marks to the underside.
