Description:
A Chinese Song Dynasty Jun kiln tripod incense burner, height 7.5, diameter 12.5 cm. One of the five famous kilns of the song dynasty, the Jun kiln is now in Yuzhou, Henan province. The open mouth and folded rim of this kiln, with its rounded neck and bulging abdomen, bearing three conical feet, the entire body glazed to the base, the tips of the feet unglazed and exposed, the bones grey in colour, the texture fine and dense, the form simple and dignified, the preservation intact, not easy to collect as a study decoration.
