An antique European carved hardwood figure of a woman, second half 18th century, modelled standing with arms back (the right arm lost) wearing a close fitting dress with the upper part of the chest uncovered and a shawl draped over the shoulders and trailing down the left side, the original gesso and paint surface now largely stripped away with some of this remaining in crevices, 79 cm high
